Tim The Fix It Man

 
They found this nice stove for us, but it does not stay on without holding the knobs down continuosly. Tim, being the creative man that he is, figured out a system to do the job. We are enjoying the fruit of his labor. Connie 

Ironing Senegalese style

This is one of my classmates. I thought you might enjoy seeing how they iron their clothes. Those are hot coals in that iron. Can you imagine. She irons every item every week this way. Makes you greatful for the simple things in life. People have to work so hard physically here. Love, Connie 

My Room

 
I thought you would like to see my room. As you can tell it is very plain, there are not many extras. I sleep under this mosquitoe net every night. They did get us used metal dressers, so now my clothes are no longer in the suitcase. My dresser had no shelves at first then one day they just magically appeared. I'm grateful to have it. Craig,Taylor, and I will all need to share it. I have it full now with all my books, clothes, and misc. Hope you enjoy these little insights into my life. Love,Connie
