My Room

I thought you would like to see my room. As you can tell it is very plain, there are not many extras. I sleep under this mosquitoe net every night. They did get us used metal dressers, so now my clothes are no longer in the suitcase. My dresser had no shelves at first then one day they just magically appeared. I'm grateful to have it. Craig,Taylor, and I will all need to share it. I have it full now with all my books, clothes, and misc. Hope you enjoy these little insights into my life. Love,Connie Posted by Picasa

A Few Extra Photos

I can't remember for sure what photos I selected. I really have to figure out how to get better at this. I THINK I chose us setting around eating from the comunity dish. We do use spoons here, but out of school they use their hands for eating.
Making juice. It took hours to make juice. All by hand, oh my what a process.
Walking through town.
Buying bread.
I thought you all might enjoy a look into my days.

Africa--My new home

Well here I am. Safe and with my new friends. This is Elizabeth, I selected this picture so Taylor could see her new friend. If I can figure out how to add more than one picture to this post I will, if not this is it. The school is all and more that I had hoped for. One week over and I've survived so far. We had the overall introduction to our school this week. Cardiology and surgery will be on Tue and Thur nights all the way through. I am going to be so stretched. We start Malaria tomorrow. I think that teacher will be english speaking so that will help. It is difficult to be in a bilingual school. Our interpreter is from here and sometimes I can't tell if he is speaking english or french. That is when I know it is time for a break. If you have any questions just ask and I'll try to get back to you with answers. There is just so much I'm not sure what to write. I miss you all and will try to post as often as I can. BIG NEWS

Big News at the Kline house. Jamie and Dustin are engaged! This took place on Monday in Hawaii. Oh my never a dull moment around here. That is quite a story you'll have to make sure to hear it. I'm trying to keep in short on the blog so you don't get overwhelmed with reading. Let me know if you need more details. I'm down to 5 days. Connie Posted by Picasa
